Health has been on my mind for a while now, ever since I moved into my flat and finally I’ve actually moved forward in progressing my physical fitness by joining the dreaded gym.
One workout later and I’m buzzing with endorphins, ready to eat a salad and feeling energised. It’s something I recommend doing, especially, if like me, you enjoy binge watching Netflix on your days off, barely leaving the couch except to prepare more snacks or overindulging on caffeinated beverages.
While I was at the gym, I was persuaded to use their fitness machine that assess weight, hydration levels, fat and muscle content. To be honest, I was nervous. As someone who hasn’t weighed themselves in over three years, knowing how heavy I was in comparison to my size 4 friends caused a slight panic beneath my cool, confident, “yeah let’s do this” exterior.
But I still did it. You know what? I was pleasantly surprised to find my result. It was not good by any standard (I had 30% fat and only 39% muscle) but it was a lot better than I was expecting and gave me a good idea of what I wanted to achieve in the future with my exercise and healthy routines.
For those of you looking to boost your energy levels because you may be emotionally and mentally exhausted by pushing your cognitive abilities to the limit on a daily basis, it may be worth looking at building on your physical exercise levels. This energy boost will help improve your chance of success.
For the best exercise routines, I have added a few I have tried and tested below.
Be the best you that you can be.
Until next time.
